WildFire beading thread is a braided thread made of an advanced synthetic material, Spectra, with a smooth thermally bonded coating. This gives softness, flexibility, near zero stretch and a thread that cannot be pierced by a needle. It will not fray at the ends and is knottable.
WildFire is a new thread that is becoming popular with bead designers in the US. Compared to Fireline WildFire is softer, stronger, less likely to kink and the colour doesn't come off in your hands as you work.
Available in three colours: Black, Green and Frost and two thicknesses 0.15mm and 0.20mm. Breaking strengths are 4.5kg and 5.5kg respectively. 0.15mm is now also available in Grey, Red and Blue.
Both thicknesses are available on reels of 45.8m. 0.15mm is also available in shorter lengths of 18.3m.
0.15mm can pass through size 12 or larger beading needles. 0.20mm fits through a size 10 needle.
