Making A Purchase
By purchasing from our store you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept payments via Paypal. You will be transferred to their site to make payment. It is and easy and secure method of paying with a credit card whether you have an account with them or not. If you have a Paypal account you can also pay from your Paypal balance.
We do not accept eCheques.
We have no access to your credit card information.
You will receive an email acknowledging your order, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an email acknowledging dispatch.
Shipping And Handling
Due to ongoing family health issues, we are only able to post once a week. Until further notice we will only post on a Tuesday. Special Delivery is still available but your order will not be sent out until the following Tuesday.
Postage is free on all UK orders greater than £7.50 after discounts. Orders less than this are charged £1.50 postage. Special Delivery is available for £7.00. The Royal Mail guarantee next weekday delivery for Special Delivery items. A signature is required on delivery.
Postage is £3.95 to European customers. You can also select a tracked service for an extra £7.25. (Full tracking is not available to all countries).
Postage is £7.00 to customers outside Europe. You can also select a tracked service for an extra £8.00. (Full tracking is not available to all countries).
You will need to select your location on checkout. If your country is not on the list, you will be charged postage of £15.
We will normally send your order to you within five business days of your payment clearing. We will contact you by email if your order will be delayed. If there is any general delay to order dispatch, we will put a notice on the homepage or our Facebook page.
Orders are sent Second Class Royal Mail.
Overseas orders are usually sent by International Standard (previously called Airmail).
Should your order not arrive within 15 working days (20 working days for European orders, 25 for other countries) please contact us. You must contact us within 30 days of dispatch if your order doesn't arrive.
It is your responsibility to check that your address is correct. Incorrect addresses delay delivery and may result in packages being returned to us or lost. We are not responsible for packages that are lost when the address given is incorrect. We reserve the right to charge actual postage costs for packages returned to us where the address is incorrect or for other reasons outside our control.
Seed beads are sent in flip top boxes. We always check the lids before dispatch and seal the post bag so, should any boxes open in transit, the beads will stay in the package. Please take care when opening orders with seed beads just in case the lids have opened. If you are unsure, open the package over a bead mat so any loose beads are not lost. If you prefer to have the lids taped please let us know in the shipping instructions.
We now tape all seed bead boxes in overseas orders and the smallest beads in UK orders. If you prefer not to have the lids taped let us know.
All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates.
Orders from countries outside the UK will have VAT deducted at checkout.
Some countries have additional sales / import taxes on goods received from overseas. Any such taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Description of Products
We take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on our website are correct at the time that it is entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the website as up to date as possible, the information appearing on our website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order.
While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy.
Every care is taken to ensure the pictures shown match the actual product as closely as possible, however, some variations may occur due to limitations in the photographic process or reproduction on different computer screens. Variations in the colour of beads from one batch to the next may also occur.
Some items are sold by volume in flip top boxes. Settling may occur with these items.
The purchaser assumes responsibility that products stipulated by him are sufficient and suitable for his purposes and shall not rely upon our skill or judgement as to whether the products are fit for any particular purpose or as to the manner in which the products shall be used irrespective of any advice which may have been given by us, our servants or agents in good faith.
Our products are not intended to be used by children or to be used to make items for children.
For all beads from all suppliers the extent to which colours are durable can depend on individual use. Differing acidity of the hands, thread and fabric will all affect durability. We recommend that you test the durability of beads before starting projects, particularly large ones. We do not recommend that you wash, dry clean or subject beads to any chemicals, including perfume and skin products. Look after your beads and your projects will last a long time.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 14 working days for a full refund. Do this by contacting us by email or by post and quoting the order number supplied to you.
If you decide to cancel, you should return the goods, including any free patterns or other free goods, to us at your cost within 14 days of the cancellation and we will reimburse you. This includes the cost of delivery, if applicable, (except for the supplementary costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than our standard, least expensive service).
Your refund will be paid within 14 days of the goods being received by us. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty.
Any goods returned should be in saleable condition. We may make a deduction for any loss of value of the goods supplied if the loss of value is a result of unnecessary handling by you.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
